Mid-Century Meets Modern Bliss in bend

Situated along the picturesque Deschutes River near the Old Mill, this project captures the beauty of Bend and infuses it with a love of all things mid-century modern. We were privileged to work alongside architect Brandon Olin, who leveraged the incredible location and gave us the bones to highlight our clients’ love of colorful hues and vintage art finds.

The kitchen island is one of our favorite parts, showcasing textural Ann Sacks tile and a modern, rounded slat island with quartzite countertops, and penny tiles to match our client’s mom’s eyes. The limestone fireplace and drop-down wood-clad ceiling accentuate the large, river-facing windows and blend organic materials with modern design. It’s always a pleasure to create a home that not only pays homage to our incredible surroundings, but also reflects the clients’ distinct style.
