OUR LITTLE SHOPPE … SMALL BUT MIGHTY

Last week, we talked about what we are ALL about and presented our shoppe + studio concept in a nutshell. But … now we want to get down and dirty and give you the details on our brick & mortar location in Northwest Crossing in Bend, Oregon!
When we launched Design Bar Shoppe + Studio, our opening was scheduled for April 10, 2020. Yep, you heard it right -- literally just two weeks after our whole world changed. Covid mandates kept us from holding the grand opening of our Shoppe, and it was devastating, to say the least!
Over the past year, like so many other businesses, we’ve rolled with the punches. But we’ve had many blessings, and we are so thankful! As a small business, we’re incredibly lucky to be thriving during a worldwide pandemic. Our design services have flourished with the influx of new homes and people moving to Bend, and with people who have lived here for years but are ready to renovate their homes after being IN their homes as much as they have been this past year.
One aspect of Design Bar that we really haven’t been able to develop as much as we would have liked is our retail component. But you know what they say, they didn’t build Rome in a day!
We love curating beautiful furniture and accessories. Our little Shoppe may be small, but we are all stocked up on fun items for spring and summer. Come visit us to see what’s new, and view the Instagram highlight we just created about custom furniture! Emily, our cute “Shoppe girl” (who is that and so much more) also shared some info about our favorite custom upholstery line.

We are all about a fabulous bar set up … even if we aren’t able to do a lot of entertaining right now (hopefully again, real soon). A beautifully styled and functional bar cart makes us happy and feels festive!

Setting the table for our weekend family dinners creates cozy vibes. Lots of candlelight and a cool centerpiece is all you need! And let’s not forget a charcuterie board for some grazing fun.
