DESIGN BAR'S NEXT CHAPTER

Welcome to the next chapter of the Design Bar story! With the rapidly shifting Fall (Winter?!) weather, we think it’s a wonderful time to tell you about all the changes coming to our little Shoppe+Studio. So don a cozy sweater, light a candle and grab your pumpkin-spice-whatever while we fill you in on all the details. But first, let’s talk about what’s NOT changing.

MORE OF THE SAME INTERIOR DESIGN AWESOMENESS

There’s comfort in familiarity, so let’s begin there, shall we? Design Bar will continue offering:

All awesome things, all here to stay. Now, here come the changes…

DESIGN BAR SHOPPE+STUDIO REVAMP

If you’ve strolled along our beautiful NW Crossing Drive and peeked in the windows of our Shoppe or Studio, you may have noticed we’ve been varying degrees of a hot mess. Fear not–it’s all for good reason! Along with cleaning out, organizing and moving furniture to create more cohesive spaces, you can now expect the following from our Shoppe+Studio:

  • Shoppe+Studio are now by appointment only (unless it’s Friday, because Friday breaks all the rules!). Booking a SIP+SHOPPE appointment now allows you to browse independently, or tap into a wealth of knowledge from a Design Concierge who can help you get the most out of your shopping experience.

  • Members of our Trade Program have access by appointment to use our Shoppe+Studio to design and host clients.

  • An increased focus on furniture pieces (hello, Sofa Shoppe!) We absolutely love the process of thoughtfully furnishing a home, and we’ve got all the fixings to do it! *hint: start with a fabulous sofa–more on that later*

LESS ‘HIGHLIGHT REELS’, MORE ‘REAL REELS’

Time for some real talk: Design is personal. It’s raw and real and beautiful. Design mirrors life, and life mirrors design–and of course, life is far from perfect! Yet we are in an industry (not to mention social media era)  that often accepts nothing less than perfection. It hyper-fixates on all the ‘pretty little things’ and in so doing, misses out on the depth that can be found in imperfection.

So join us for the bold & beautiful, the behind-the-scenes & bloopers, as we move forward with transparency, humor and on Fridays, a cocktail in hand.

Whew! We made it! Thanks for going on the journey with us. We wouldn’t be here without our wonderful community.
